Food Process Engineer
  • Lead or support technology transfer activities of food product and processes (for four manufacturing facilities and 3rd party vendors) from development to commercial production.
  • Responsible for preparing and approving manufacturing forms and related technical documentation needed to manufacture product.
  • Evaluates processes and procedures that drive continuous improvement. Ensure effective communication.
  • Master of Science (M.S.) preferred, but Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or similar scientific discipline with 6 years related experience in food industry required.
  • Experience with shelf stable dressing/sauce technologies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office with specific emphasis on advanced Excel and Word utilization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using statistical processes to extract underlying cause and effect relationships.
  • Experience using Ross computer systems or other mainframe based computer systems preferred but not required

Tool Design Engineer
  • Seeking Tool Design Engineer for plastic injection molding, Tier II supplier, light industrial facility.  Responsible for overall design of tools, fixtures and equipment for  production departments.  Must be able to perform design reviews and engineering changes, create detailed drawings, and work closely with Tool Room and Engineering departments and external suppliers.  Experience in automotive and plastic injection mold design required.
  • Must have intermediate language skills, high math and reasoning skills, oral and written communication skills, interpersonal/customer service skills, proactive and organizational work habits, teamwork, computer skills (CAD, Microsoft Word/Excel).
  • Minimum of Associates Degree and one year experience in tool design and plastics injection molding, or HS Diploma/GED and at least three years related experience.
  • Compensation and Benefits commensurate with experience, exempt status, excellent benefits package provided with very low out-of-pocket expense to the employee.

ERWIN QUARDER, INC.
Floor Helper/Machine Operator
  • Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs, including but not limited to the following duties; produces assigned products in accordance with written and verbal instructions, maintains up to five plastic injection molding machines and moves finished goods to the staging area, fulfills quality requirements as outlined in job books, inspects parts and documents information on appropriate paperwork, assists in training temporary employees, maintains a clean/orderly/safe work area, adheres to established policies and procedures.  Some weekend overtime required.
  • Must have average math/language/reasoning skills, organizational and time management skills, knowledge of computer label software, ability to occasionally lift/move up to 55 pounds, attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills, ability to perform in a fast-paced and highly efficient work environment.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment mandatory, excellent attendance record mandatory, experience in plastics/automotive manufacturing preferred.
Wage:  $10.00 hourly (plus $.50 hourly shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Automation Technician- 3rd Shift
  • Utilize automation technology skills and experience to develop, implement and improve automation standards and equipment for plastic injection molded parts manufacturing facility.  
  • Design and program automation controllers, end of arm tooling, and automation equipment and identify and support continuous improvement efforts to generate productivity increases, enhance product quality, reduce costs, maximize output, minimize scrap while maintaining and exceeding quality control standards.  
  • Troubleshoot automation equipment problems and maintain up-to-date knowledge of related machinery and equipment.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Automation Specialist, Electrician or equivalent in experience plus education.

TACK ELECTRONICS, INC.

  • Looking for four full-time Assembly Workers.
  • TACK Electronics is a family owned and operated manufacturer of quality cables and wire harnesses.  
  • The right candidate will have strong manufacturing and assembling skills and should be able to work independently.  
  • Experience in wire harness assembly is a plus, but not a requirement. Training is available.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED, basic shop math skills, good hand/eye coordination.
  • Knowledge with/or training to IPC 620B Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies is desirable
