Description: The successful candidate will plan, develop and implement communication strategies, campaigns and programs to deliver public health information, promote the utilization of Kent County Health Department services and build public awareness of the KCHD and its role in the community.
Job Responsibilities: Will represent the KCHD to the media; develop and maintain the department’s website; and develop, design and coordinate the production and distribution of a variety of informational, marketing and promotional media. Will collect, compile and analyze market, public opinion and needs assessment research. Will plan, develop and supervise the staging of public relations and other special events. Will lead in facilitating a Countywide Communications Committee and will work with other County Departments, Officials and Agencies on a limited basis to strategize communication messages and delivery.
