Calvin College seeks a Manager of Employment Services. This position is responsible for overseeing employment administration for the college, for facilitating the performance review process and for communicating human resource services to the college community. This position requires a Bachelor's degree; three to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires extensive training and/or specialized advanced certification and/or licensing, as well as knowledge of specialized practices, systems, and procedures. Preferred qualifications include experience in human resources, certification in human resources (PHR/SPHR) and experience working in higher education. Review of applications will begin on August 13 and continue until the position is filled.

Calvin College seeks a Program Manager for the Office of Gift Planning. This position Manages foundations and other programs for which the college has contractual commitments, as well as similar projects. The position requires a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and the position requires three to five years of related experience. Requires knowledge of corporate practices, systems or procedures. Experience in charitable foundations or non-profit corporate administration is also required. This position is a part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week, year round. This position is funded by a third party contract. If the funding for this position is discontinued, this position will be eliminated. This position is open until noon on Monday, September 15.

Calvin College seeks a Business Program Recruiting and Advising Coordinator. This position is responsible for helping the business department connect with and serve students. Specifically, this person will lead the department's efforts to help incoming students learn about the business program, to advise current students regarding their academic careers, and to develop and award departmental scholarships. This position requires a Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university, three to five years related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. An undergraduate degree in a business field and a relevant graduate degree are preferred. Experience in recruitment and with helping young people develop is preferred. Demonstrated experience and effectiveness with customers preferred. This is a part-time position working approximately 20 hours during the academic year and designated days during the summer. It is a .40 FTE position.

Calvin College seeks an Academic Division Web Coordinator. The position is responsible for coordinating strategic use of web-based content and technology to advance the academic mission of Calvin College for both internal and external audiences, including current and prospective students and faculty as well as the college's constituent audiences and colleagues in higher education around the world. This position also supports the work of other departments across the college through collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening and communicating the academic presence of the college. This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organization and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Excellent knowledge of web and graphic design and related software is required. This position is open until noon on Monday, August 25.

Calvin College seeks a Costume Shop Manager. This is a nine-month, half-time position (August through May), and is renewable for 1-year terms. Under the supervision of the CAS Director of Theatre, the Costume Shop Manager (CSM) is responsible for the day-to-day running and organizing of the costume shop, and for overseeing the costume construction crews during the preparation of all CAS Department productions. This position requires The position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or a one-year certificate from a college or technical school; one to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with theatrical costuming and some familiarity with the play production process is highly desirable. This is a part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year. It is a .40 FTE position. There are no benefits associated with this position. Calvin College seeks a Building Services Supervisor for the Academic Buildings. This position is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of specified building(s) on campus. This position requires a high diploma or general education degree (GED) or a one-year certificate from a college or technical school. Requires multiple years of on-the-job training or apprenticeship. The position requires three to five years of related experience. 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred. Requires knowledge of specialized practices, systems or procedures. Experience with pool cleaning and maintenance helpful. Commercial cleaning and supervisory experience required. This position works from 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday through Friday. Position is open until noon on September 2.
