Accounting Assistant
Habitat for Humanity of Kent County seeks qualified candidates for the position of Accounting Assistant within the Finance Department. Building Supervisor (Part-time 19 hours a week or less)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Building Supervisor is to ensure a safe, secure, and customer friendly environment for staff members, volunteers, guests and visitors of the Kroc Center. 
This position will be responsible for opening and closing the facility and instrumental with maintaining daily operations across all Kroc Center departments.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Perform a variety of tasks including the daily facility opening and closing, maintenance and set ups.
Provide supervision of Kroc Center part time staff, members and guests that ensures a safe and secure facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree required. Higher education or Associate’s degree preferred.
Two years of supervisory experience is required.  Additional two year experience in safety, security or maintenance is preferred. 
Be able to read, write and communicate in English with the preferred ability to also communicate in Spanish.
Have CPR/AED/First Aid certification or obtain within 45 days.
Be able to lift and carry 40lbs.

Materials Recovery Supervisor
Habitat for Humanity of Kent County seeks qualified candidates for the position of Materials Recovery Manager, reporting to the Director of Gifts-In-Kind. Habitat Kent is focused on recruiting a diverse and equitable workforce, and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  The primary responsibilities of this position will be to schedule, coordinate, and perform deconstruction projects to obtain donated gifts that require physical removal and disassemble from the donor’s premises to be sold in our ReStores or to be used for our building projects.  The Materials Recovery Supervisor is responsible for controlling the project site, ensuring safety and order is maintained and that volunteers and donors have a positive experience, and to promote the program through community outreach and contact with trade contractors.  Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years site construction experience; 3 or more construction management or equivalent, demonstrated body of work and full comprehension of all aspects of residential construction required, ability to teach deconstruction techniques, strong organizational skills, the willingness and ability to work and communicate well with all types of people, a valid driver’s license with safe record and the ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 6o pounds.  An active Michigan Residential Builder License is preferred. This is a full-time exempt position with benefits.  Send resumes by August 18, 2015 to arichardson@habitatkent.org.  No phone calls or walk-ins. Habitat for Humanity of Kent County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
