Our Community's Children is looking for 15 to 21-year-old Grand Rapids residents to apply for the 8th cohort of LEAD program. This civic engagement, leadership and employment program was endorsed by President Barack Obama for being a model of mayoral leadership in youth employment and an example of how government and businesses work together to provide pathways to employment. The 7 week training program begins in October. Once participants complete training, they are eligible for a job at one of the Mayor's 50 Businesses! Visit www.grchildren.us for more information!
